Mithat TOPAL was born in Kozan district of ADANA city in 1950 and completed his primary,secondary and high school education in KOZAN.

He had studied and completed Building Engineering in İstanbul Devlet Mühendislik ve Mimarlık Akademisi (IDMMA).

After education, he started his business life in KOZAN, in 1972, by opening a firm about project and supervision named “Mithat Topal Proje Bürosu”.

By the foundation he had settled, he started public contract business in Kozan district and around it. In short time, he succeded to complete bridge and crater repairs of village roads that were unusable in that region.

In 1983, he moved to ADANA by increasing his crew number becuase of his developing business.

Some of the projects he succeeded proudly are Adana Police Department Building and Houses, Kayseri Police House, Adana Judge Department, Adana Health Directorship, Adana City Private Administration Health Facilities, Hatay TOKİ Houses, Hatay Inhabiting Houses, Many house and Office constructions in Adana City Center.

And Mithat TOPAL returned his earnings from Adana by investing on Adana.

In 1995, He laid the foundation of AKASAN Adana Paper Industry.

Established in Adana Hacı Sabancı Organized Industrial Region and being one of the distinguished foundations of country,,AKASAN is the unique company in region which is producing paper aimed at export with the policy of peace with environment and nature and first quality and trust.

As General Manager of AKASAN, Mithat TOPAL is married with 3 children
